Battlefoam P.A.C.K. 1520XL

With some of my tax refund money this year, I picked up a Battlefoam case on Sunday from my FLGS. I also special ordered some IG foam trays that will allow me to transport my Cadian army in style.

This is my second Battlefoam case, I have a P.A.C.K. 720 that I use to for my Blood Angels and I really like it. I'm sure I will like this one just as much.

Do you prefer the Battlefoam over the Sabol/Army Transports?

I do. Battlefoam is significantly more expensive, but worth it in my opinion and seems to be better quality than Sabol. The pre-cut foam trays I have used are nicely laid out and work very well. I really like the Blood Angel Character tray that has special holes cut for all the special characters even though I do not own all of them.

I use a Sabol cases for my Ork army (motorpool and division) and they both hold multiple stacks of trays (2 in the motorpool and 3 in the division). It can be a pain trying to stack these evenly so you can close the cases when you are packing up. With Battlefoam, they are all single layer trays, so that is another plus.

I have been looking to find some cheap storage tubs that will hold the BF foam trays. I want to get more foam trays for other armies and I plan to swap them from tub to case depending on the army I want to play.

I've been thinking about doing this with some of my refund as well. The 1520XL is doable, but I'm unsure of whether I'd like to spend quite that much. How is the 720?
