Battlewagon Magical Mystery Tour

Just an interesting and odd note, but since I upgraded my Photobucket account I have been able to track the sites that have linked to my pictures. The above picture of my Deffrolla Battlewagon has apparently begun touring across Europe.

It first appeared last week in Denmark on the forums of Powerfist.dk. Earlier this week, it was sighted in Poland on the forums of WH40k.pl.

Since I do not speak or read Danish or Polish, I used a free translation site to translate them. In Denmark, the battlewagon deffrolla was used as an example for NOT allowing an embarked unit to disembark in front of the deffrolla. I did not have much luck translating the Polish forum posts but as far as I can tell, it was used as a good example of a proper deffrolla.

In honor of this mystery tour, I have decided to paint this battlewagon as my Heavy Support unit for the month of May in the 2010 Painting Resolution Contest.

Here's to hoping it continues it's tour.

Really? You can do that? I'd upgraded my photo bucket account as it was an easy way to track views/hits (prior to getting the flag counter on my blog), but I guess I haven't looked that closely at all the features.

I'll have to look into that!

When you are on the stat page, there is a list of sites with checkboxes under the graph. As you check or uncheck the sites, it adjusts the graph accordingly. Its rather well done.

The only problem is that it only gives you the domain name. With these two sites, I was able to search their forums for 'slipwing' and the posts came right up.

ah, ok. I knew about the boxes & check marks, but the thought to go to those domains & do a search hadn't occurred to me. Will try it though.
